Experiment: The 'Fire' Radish Mix
We are testing a super-spicy radish blend. If you like a kick in your tacos, this is for you. We're currently growing trial trays to see how the shelf-life holds up before offering it to the whole neighborhood.
The Experiment
We're crossing two varieties:
- Sango Radish — purple stems, medium heat
- Rambo Radish — intense wasabi-like kick
Current Status
- Trial trays planted: Jan 2
- Expected harvest: Jan 12
- Taste testing: Jan 13–15
- Shelf life testing: Jan 15–22
What We're Looking For
- Heat level — Should be noticeable but not painful
- Shelf life — Needs to last 5+ days like our regular mix
- Visual appeal — We want those bright purple stems
